Botox® and Dysport® are FDA-approved neuromodulators that temporarily relax targeted facial and neck muscles to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated expressions like frowning, squinting, or raising your brows. These treatments help smooth lines, soften movement, and refresh your overall appearance. While both products work similarly, they differ slightly in formulation, onset time, and how they diffuse beneath the skin.

At The Alámar Integrative Medical Spa, every wrinkle-relaxing treatment begins with a personalized consultation. Your provider will assess your facial anatomy, muscle movement, and aesthetic goals to recommend the product and dosing approach best suited to your needs. You’ll only be charged for the number of units used.

Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines (“11s”), crow’s feet, lips, chin, jawline, and neck bands. Most patients begin to see results within a few days, with full effects typically visible within one to two weeks—though exact timing may vary depending on which neuromodulator is used. Results generally last about 3 to 4 months, and routine maintenance is recommended to preserve your outcome and help prevent deeper lines from forming over time.
